Tim & Roxanne Kelley's dream has come true, as they take delivery of their 2010 Dodge Caravan fully equipped for wheelchair accessibility! Click here to watch a YouTube Video on it.

Our congregation was blessed by the beautiful voices of the acapella singing group, PSALOM during our Church Family Night event. For more information and to order recordings of their music go to: www.psalom.org

Don & Patsy Lindsey enjoyed a very special Fourth of July weekend, celebrating 50 years of marriage with their children, their children's children, and their church family. Thank the Lord for the special blessings this family has brought to our Church!

Tuesday evenings at 7pm our Prayer group meets in the church prayer room with anyone interested in quiet meditation or oral prayer. For additional info, contact Kathleen Malloy thru the church office.

The Church received a very nice thank you message from Juliet Samson, the “Mom” of the Gospa Prayer House in North Hills. She apologized for the delay in getting back to us with these pictures of our pews in their chapel. The note says “with your donation of church pews which we have been dreaming to get but cannot afford, you made our dream come true! Our heartfelt thanks to all members of your community from us members of Gospa Prayer House.” As you can see by the pictures....
On September 12th the church celebrated 50 years of service to our Lord and community with a very special worship service featuring many current and past members. A reading by a series of congregation members of those members that have passed on, was followedby an inspiring sermon from Tim Kelley. The service concluded with a charge from Tim Kelley representing our first 50 years to current Minister Keith Whitney to lead the church into the future.tation ceremony to Tim & Roxanne Kelley. Amongst the many former members who joined us were James & Connie Greer, and our former Minister, Tim Kelley, and his wife Roxanne.
For weeks Carolyn and Ron Tyler from the Camarillo Church of Christ and others had secretly been contacting friends of our former minister, Tim Kelley. As more and more people knew of the effort, the chance the news would leak got greater and greater. So it was decided they would be told at a meeting at Tim's current church, the Chico Church of Christ. A cell phone link was established.....
Many Church of Christ people know Tim Kelley, who has served as song leader and speaker for the Pepperdine Lectureship, and, with a Master of Divinity degree from Pepperdine, has given over 35 years of full time ministry to Churches of Christ in Torrance, Morro Bay, Camarillo and most recently Chico, California.
This acapella singing group from St. Petersburg, Russia joined us during our Church Family Night event for an amazing singing performance and some workshop style singing lessons for our congregation.
It is now easy for church and Temple members to check on scheduled activities by checking the Temple's Event Calendar that is viewable online (Click Here for Temple Calendar) (Click Here for Church Calendar) .
Speaking for some Christians who meet together at 515 Temple Avenue, I am pleased to announce our decision to welcome the congregation of The Temple Ner Ami to share our building. As a Christian community, we recognize that others may disagree with our decision. Indeed, some within our own faith community expressed disagreement, as did some within the Jewish community. We believe these very concerns make it desirable for us to demonstrate to everyone that Jews and Christians can live together in mutual respect and sincere love.
Welcome to the Camarillo Church of Christ Website! We are the church at Lewis Road and Temple. Inspired by the Prophet Isaiah (who was speaking for God), we are “Declaring the Dawn.” Isaiah 58:8 speaks of a dawning day when God's people will be known for their love, joy, and peace, as well as peacemaking! Perhaps you read my letter in the local newspaper. If so, you know that we are committed to respectful interaction with others—especially other Christians, Jews, and Muslims - all of whom claim a relationship to God through Abraham, the father of the faithful.
I want to invite you to check out the various materials and past sermons available through this Website. However, I also would love to meet you! Please come and visit our services; check out one of our sermons personally! I know you will find a warm and welcoming group of faithful Christians, any of whom would love to become one of your friends.
We seek to follow God's leading, for we believe he still speaks through what he has spoken. Our simple Bible classes and sermons are designed to help us in our daily walk—our Living with God. If I can assist you in any way, please feel free to call me. I may not be at the building when you call, but Mark Malloy (our church administrator) likely will be. He knows how to get in touch with me.
Blessings always,
Alan Beard

Sunday morning Bible study is lead by our Senior Minister, Keith Whitney. Current topic of study is the Book of John.
Sunday nights at 6pm we have a small group that meets for an hour. We have brief Bible Study lesson by Ron Tyler and singing led by Dick Womack in the Fellowship Hall. The group discusses the next Sunday sermon topic, and what songs would be a good match for the topic.
