Ministries
Adult
Education Ministry
The goals of our Adult
Education Ministry are two-fold. First, we seek to assist Christians
in becoming like Jesus in their lifestyle, thinking, and service.
Second, we want to honor God through teaching His Word, and to provide
opportunities for that Word to be heard and accepted by as many
people as possible.
Our Christ-centered curriculum, based on Scripture and the sharing
of our collective experience, is designed to be challenging, informative,
and interesting. Our classes range from a conversational class about
a book, to Scripture classes, to practical classes on parenting
and finances. With an outstanding staff of teachers, co-teachers,
and assistants, we believe you will find a warm, friendly atmosphere
in which you can grow spiritually and intellectually into the character
of Jesus Christ.

Children's
Ministry
The mission of our children’s
ministry is to supplement the family’s attempt to provide
spiritual foundations for our children. In God’s timing, these
efforts will prayerfully lead a child to know, love and serve Jesus
Christ.
Our children’s ministry is grounded in several values: (1)
Our ministry is Word-centered, meaning that the Bible is taught
and experienced in every setting where children encounter our ministry.
(2) Our ministry is child-centered, meaning that our classes and
experiences consider the developmental stages of children and what
makes them tick. (3) Our ministry is relationship-centered, meaning
that we believe that children develop their faith in relationship
to parents, teachers, and the larger church body. (4) Our ministry
is creative because we believe that the Holy Spirit gifts us as
teachers to think outside the box and reach our children with creative
tools and applications.
Our children’s ministry is always growing and changing, but
there are a few experiences that serve as the core opportunities
for your child at our church:
1. Bible Classes – Bible classes are offered
for children by age groupings at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday morning, and
some class or offering is made available on Wednesday evenings at
7:00 p.m.
2. Children’s Worship – Children are
invited to their own worship service where they are taught to sing,
pray and worship during the regular adult worship on Sunday mornings
at 10:30 a.m.
3. Child Care – We attempt to provide child
care in some form for all church events.
4. Kids’ Nite Out – We offer the parents
of our community a night to spend with each other while we keep
the children.
5. Vacation Bible School and special summer day
classes provide children with maximized exposure to the creative
and lively teaching of God’s Word.
For more information on our children’s
ministry or how you can be involved, please e-mail our Children’s
Minister, Lianne Rodriguez
or call the office during her working hours
on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, (805) 482-3505.

Youth Group Ministry
The Camarillo
Church of Christ Youth Group
(motto: ODDUK) seeks to
cultivate a closer relationship with God through Bible studies,
devotionals, special events, and relationships with each other.
Youth Group
(9th, 10th, 11th, 12th) come
together to learn about what it means to be a child of God in light
of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus The Christ. We wrestle
with what it's like to be a teenager living in today's world by
engaging in activities that range from serious discussions to just
hanging out with each other away from the pressures of contemporary
life. Under Resources
are sites of interest to this age group.
(1) Sunday Bible Study at 9:15 a.m.
(2) Wednesday evening Devotional at 7:00 p.m.
(3) Special events like retreats, lock-ins, camps, mission trips,
service days, and more.
We invite your teenager to join us. For more information about our
youth ministry and how you can be involved, please call office:

Small
Group Ministry
Small groups are the front lines
of our experience of community in our congregation. Small
groups serve as places of fellowship and growth in relationships,
and they are a great way to deepen your friendships and your spiritual
life while you worship and serve to glorify The LORD with us.
Our small groups meet in various locations and for various studies.
Please see Ralph or Kristie Rascon, or call 482-3505, if you would
like more information about joining a group.
